Flights from USA to Tokyo
When flying from the US to Tokyo, you will most likely need to connect through one of several gateway cities in the US with direct flights to Tokyo. LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) in California, HNL (Honolulu International Airport) in Hawaii, SFO (San Francisco International Airport) in California, have had such flights. Unless you live nearby one of the gateway cities listed above, you will probably first need a connecting domestic flight to that hub airport. From that hub you would then take a direct flight to Tokyo to complete your flight from the USA to Japan. The main international arrival airport in Tokyo is HND (Tokyo International Airport).
It is also sometimes possible to create an itinerary from the USA to Tokyo which connects through an airport in another country, but for many travelers flying from the US that may mean two connections and a longer flight. Hope this page helped you in planning flights from the USA to Tokyo.
