Flights from USA to Bangkok
Thailand is a wonderful place to visit. Whether flying on to Phuket or one of the other great parts of Thailand, or staying in Bangkok at one of its many world class hotels, many travelers traveling to Thailand from America will first arrive and pass through the airport in Bangkok.
When flying from the US to Bangkok, you will most likely need to connect through a gateway cities in the US with direct flights to Bangkok. LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) in California has had such flights, though it may not currently. Unless you live nearby such a gateway city, you will probably first need a connecting domestic flight to that hub airport. From that hub you would then take a direct flight to Bangkok to complete your flight from the USA to Thailand. The main international arrival airport in Bangkok is BKK (Suvarnabhumi Airport).
It is also sometimes possible to create an itinerary from the USA to Bangkok which connects through an airport in another country (e.g. such as through Hong Kong), but for many travelers flying from the US that may mean two connections and a longer flight.
